Ron Sim to Lead SnowShoe’s Retail Sales

SnowShoe is happy to welcome Ron Sim as the newest member of our sales team. Ron joins the team as Sales Executive focused on the small retail business sector, leading the outreach effort to this growing new customer base for the company.

Ron comes to SnowShoe from leading retail loyalty company Loyalti, who offers an easy-to-use loyalty complete solution for brick-and-mortar retail. In his sales leadership role at Loyalti, Ron worked directly with both small retailers and enterprise clients, helping them to find solutions for their specific businesses and providing onboarding and technical support. As the new business lead, Ron helped the company increase its clientbase by ten-fold over the past few years.

Ron began his sales career in his college years at Verizon working directly with consumers. He later moved to FiveStars, which brought him deep experience in the retail loyalty space. His success in landing new business won him top sales recognition for several months, and it solidified his enthusiasm for working with small retail clients.

Ron’s passion for helping small businesses stems from his experience growing up in the restaurant industry. As a kid, he saw first-hand that it can be a challenging and demanding field. Small business owners wear many hats, and Ron enjoys being able to simplify one aspect of business for these hustling entrepreneurs. When the pandemic shut down in-store operations for many of his brick-and-mortar clients, Ron was able to help these retailers stay in contact with their customers, which he found particularly gratifying. He looks forward to opening up his own small business one day.

When it comes to sales, Ron sees his role as being a consultant to his clients. For him, it’s about making sure that his clients are set up for success with the right product and the right expectations. He sees taking care of clients as a team effort, which is why he is looking forward to working at SnowShoe. In Ron’s words, “Being a part of a strong team excites me the most.”

Ron’s Philosophy: As long as everyone’s winning, that’s what’s important.
