Featured Team Member: Brittany Schmidt
SnowShoe is thrilled to feature Sales Manager Brittany Schmidt, one of our dynamic sales team members working to provide our merchants with the best experience possible.
Brittany came to the SnowShoe team with a strong sales and management background. She has always had an entrepreneurial mindset, and she developed a love for business management from her High School Business classes. To this day, she credits her High School Business teacher, Chris Oechsner, for introducing her to this new passion.
For much of her career, Brittany was able to pair her love for business with another passion: Fitness. She began as a personal trainer at Planet Fitness, growing and developing their previously nonexistent training program by 100%. Brittany then moved on to Wisconsin Athletic Club, where she became “#1 Trainer of the Year” at her club location.
Working at these facilities inspired Brittany to start and run her own business, which she counts as one of her biggest accomplishments to date. In the Spring of 2018, Brittany opened No B.S. Fitness, a play on her initials. As a one-woman show, Brittany grew her client base–and gained invaluable sales experience–through social media campaigns, networking and speaking engagements. She managed the company’s daily financials, bookkeeping and operations all while building individual workout and nutrition programs for her clients.
Right before coming to SnowShoe, Brittany gained additional experience as a Sales Specialist at Generac Power Systems. She was responsible for re-engaging customers and reopening the sales cycle in order to lead to a final sale.
Since joining the SnowShoe team in March 2022, Brittany has played an instrumental role in developing the company’s retail district partnership program. She secured partnerships with nearly a dozen retail districts within months of starting, and she works closely with downtown districts and chambers to create highly customized neighborhood-wide loyalty programs for their merchants. “I love working with retail districts,” Brittany says. “It’s all about community building, and that’s exactly what Spark Loyalty was built to do.”
Brittany’s sales philosophy? “Be authentic to yourself.” Clearly, it works wonders.
Glad to have you on the team, Brittany!
