Featured Team Member: Ashley Coates is SnowShoe's New Marketing Director

The SnowShoe team continues to expand with its latest hire, Ashley Coates, as the company’s Marketing Director. An experienced marketing professional with 15+ years in the industry, Ashley had been helping SnowShoe on a consulting basis for the past year, helping to grow the company’s brand in the independent retail market. SnowShoe is now happy to have her on board as a full-fledged member of the team.

Ashley began her career in marketing as an Assistant Account Executive at award-winning Seattle advertising agency Copacino + Fujikado, working on such accounts as Seattle Art Museum, SafeCo Insurance and Puget Sound Energy. She then became the Marketing Manager at Tony Award-winning Seattle Repertory Theatre where she spent six years heading up the company’s subscription campaigns, advertising buys and marketing efforts. Ashley has always had a passion for the performing arts, and she continues to frequent shows and perform herself whenever she has the opportunity.

In 2014, Ashley moved back to her hometown of Portland, OR where she became a Senior Account Manager at acclaimed local advertising agency Coates Kokes. There, she managed branding campaigns for Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities, City of Portland, and Multnomah County Library, and she helped steward Oregon Health Authority’s multiple million dollar state-wide advertising campaigns.

Ashley is a strong supporter of entrepreneurship and independent business, having come from a family of entrepreneurs. She has run her own marketing consulting LLC for the past several years, providing marketing support to many local businesses and nonprofits. She is thrilled for this opportunity to lead SnowShoe’s promotional efforts during a period of tremendous growth for the company. In Ashley’s words, “It’s a joy to be a part of the SnowShoe team working to provide innovative solutions to hard-working, creative independent retailers all over the country.”
